In February, The Telegram told the story of the young Reveen taking over his late father’s show.
But before fulfilling what he calls his destiny in putting on his
father’s tuxedo, around the mid-’80s Ty had some different ideas. They
had a lot to do with blowing up the stage in the name of rock ’n’ roll.
“At that time Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind and Fire and other
artists like that were starting to hire people from the magic industry
to design ideas for them,” he says.

Ty Reveen remembers his last visit to Amherst in the late 1970s.
He was performing with his late father, the popular stage hypnotist and illusionist, known simply as Reveen.
“I remember Amherst quite well,” Reveen said. “We played in an old
school gymnasium and an old hotel, I think it was called the Colonial.
It was a great town to visit and the place was packed.”
Reveen returns to Amherst Oct. 22 as part of his latest tour through
the Maritimes, following in the footsteps of his father, Peter Reveen,
who made numerous trips through the region during a career that spanned
five decades.

2013 Tour Dates begin on October 12th.
Reveen's show was without a doubt the most popular attended theatre show in Canadian history during the 20th century.
Now Ty Reveen; the son of the World's most famous Hypnotist, chosen by his father to follow in his footsteps is doing so with tremendous success.
On September 22nd of 2011 during a special ceremony in Las Vegas hosted by Jeff McBride during a Wonderground Event, The Great Reveen passed his Tuxedo on to his son Tyrone to allow the Reveen legacy to live on!
