Featuring practicing members of the Edmonton Magic Club, this spectacular show celebrates the joy of togetherness and the timeless power of imagination. From laughter that warms the heart to mysteries that leave you spellbound, every moment is designed to dazzle, delight, and inspire. 

This edition of Magic Mania will feature:

Jason Wong - Using a simple deck this card carrier will unlock the hidden power of the mind. Matter and free thought are blended seamlessly to have you looking into the beyond.

Frank Mcallister - Breaking the bonds of our physical world, Frank is a master in the art of Escapology. With television appearances and years of experience under his belt, you can’t wait to see what he slips out of next.

Edmonton Magic Club to host a virtual lecture with Katherine Mills - TONIGHT

We are pleased to announce that we have a special FREE lecture by British Magician Katherine Mills tomorrow, Tuesday, May 17 at 7:00 PM MST. Presented courtesy of the Edmonton Magic Club. All are welcome!

Katherine Mills is an expert at psychological magic, close-up and stage. Her mentalist act is a psychological high-wire act. She the ability to fascinate her audience whether they believe in magic or not; and, to wow even the most sceptical.

Katherine is the first woman magician to gain her own prime-time show in the UK: Katherine Mills: Mind Games,. She is a member of The Magic Circle.

Katherine has been active in performing magic for 17 years. She has wide experience ranging from social, commercial, fashion and artistic events—corporate and private, and will share what she has learnt performing and how she adjusted to opportunities. Her effects are ones most magicians are aware of.

We are very pleased to announce that Lisa Menna will be presenting her online lecture this Tuesday, April 19 at 7:00 PM MST.  

This is a FREE presentation courtesy of the Edmonton Magic Club. All are welcome!
 
Lisa Menna has been a professional entertainer for 45 years, and has performed in 75 countries. She has previously lectured twice at FISM and will lecture there again in 2022. Lisa “has performed in all three rooms of the Hollywood Magic Castle”.
 
“Lisa Menna is a magician and activist. Called the most influential female magician of the 20th century by BBC World Service, she was a pioneer in a male-dominated profession. Menna gave a briefing for the High Commission of Human Rights at the United Nations focused on her work with Cause To Wonder and the use of curiosity to introduce ideas of human rights for women.” You are encouraged to look at her website: Magician Lisa Menna; in particular the links: menna video library, and a magician’s life.
 
Lisa typically does not do club lectures however has graciously agreed to lecture (via Zoom) at the Edmonton Magic Club. She will share information regarding her experience as a world-class entertainer, and her approach to using magic.

From full time professionals to magic enthusiasts, the members of the Edmonton Magic Club come together each year to produce a magic extravaganza, specifically designed to raise thousands of dollars for local charities and family-based organizations.

This year, the Edmonton Magic Club is privileged to support the Youth Emergency Shelter Society. Since the 1980’s, YESS has worked with more than 20,000 kids and thousands of families. The shelter is a home where kids who have nowhere else to go can seek caring assistance in working through difficult times.
