In lieu of a physical reunion bringing together past campers and staff, Canada’s Magic is hosting a virtual reunion of sorts. We’ve reached out to the Sorcerers Safari community with a dozen or so questions to help bring us up to date on what everyone has been up to since our magic camp days.
If you completed our survey, keep your eyes peeled for your segment!
If you would like to participate but haven’t filled out the survey, there’s still time. The survey can be found here: https://forms.gle/umg77yj9QxUzfpm76

From the March 11th Instagram post by The Toronto Magic Company:
Is this Toronto’s funniest magic show or Toronto’s most magical comedy show?
Trick question - it’s BOTH!
Toronto’s funniest magicians have joined forces to create a 90 minute show jam packed with laughs and mind-blowing amazement. They’ll read your mind, predict the future, and do all sorts of other crazy sh*t you won’t believe unless you see it with your own eyes!
And it’s happening one day only - Thursday April 7th.
So get off the couch and join us for an incredible night of comedy, magic, and fun that you’ll never forget.
From the January 24th article "Mark Clearview Makes Magic" in VITA Daily:
You are quite the accomplished magician! From Times Square to Michelin restaurants to Penn & Teller, what has been your favourite venue or show to perform?
Some say I’m the MOST accomplished magician. But they’re very incorrect. I’ve been lucky enough to perform in plenty of bucket list venues. My favourite place to perform in terms of audiences and history is the historic Magic Castle in Hollywood. It’s the most magical place on earth, not Disney. My favourite place to perform in terms of trying new material is Caroline’s on Broadway in NYC. Something about a dark comedy club that gets my stomach all a flutter. And I don’t think it’s just the food in Times Square.
Do you have an all-time favourite or signature magic trick?
I was first known as that guy who spent two weeks in a straitjacket (setting a world record for the longest time in a straitjacket), but now I’m known for my stupider effects. Turning an egg into a rotisserie chicken or teleporting a signed business card into an urn of my grandfather’s ashes.

From the November 5th Instagram post by the Toronto Magic Company:
Is this Toronto’s FUNNIEST magic show or Toronto’s most MAGICAL comedy show?
Why not both?!?
Four of Toronto’s funniest magicians are jumping on the Yuk-Yuk stage for a night of non-stop laughs, fun surprises, and of course, mind-blowing magic.
You’ve seen them on Penn & Teller’s Fool Us, America’s Got Talent, and Breakfast Television. Now see them LIVE for ONE. NIGHT. ONLY!
From Eventbrite:

Yes it's true!!! A dream come true and I will be performing for Penn & Teller on the one and only FOOL US on October 15th 😍 On the CW channel and then available for streaming the next day.
I can't begin to express how much this opportunity has meant to me. Please be sure to tune in and whisper my name in your sleep that night❗👶
P&T have always been my favorite magicians, and to perform on their stage at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas was just an absolute delight... What a year this has been. I can't say anything else but I can say this:
