Windsor: Piff the Magic Dragon

From the March 25th article "Q and A: Piff the Magic Dragon" by Dalson Chen in the Windsor Star:
Piff the Magic Dragon likes to point out that he’s not as famous as his older brother — Steve.

But the English-born magician with a spiky tail (John van der Put) isn’t hurting for work these days, having been featured to great response on Penn & Teller: Fool Us and America’s Got Talent.

Witness Piff’s deadpan humour and ironic illusions in person when he performs at Caesars Windsor on Friday, March 30.

Q. Dragons seem to be very popular now, what with Game of Thrones, Imagine Dragons, Dragons’ Den — have you noticed people giving you more respect?

A. Yeah, finally. It’s a good time to be a dragon. Before that, it was just about being shot in the face by a dwarf or a hobbit. But times have changed.

Keith Brown at TEDx University of Windsor

November 8, 2014

Keith has performed at many festivities including; private parties, corporate functions and charity events in Canada, France, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, the United States, Belgium, Czech Republic, and once, on a ship sailing the Mediterranean. He is definitely not your typical rabbit-and-hat type of magician. Keith performs many different styles of magic and specializes in close-up miracles. People who see him perform are shocked by the fact that the magic happens in their hands, in their minds and right in front of their faces. While performing at various venues, Keith mingles with the crowd, or travels from table to table using cards and other common objects to astound guests. Audiences always experience a personal and customized show. His personality is engaging. His magic is ASTONISHING!

'Magic really does exist'

From WindsorStar.com:
'Magic really does exist'
Magician puts smiles on sick children's faces

By Frances Willick, Windsor Star January 3, 2011

Read about how magician Ron Gudel visits sick children "every Monday to provide a bit of relief from their pain, boredom and anxiety."

"Almost invariably, the kids respond to the magic tricks with wide eyes, smiles, laughter or rapt attention."
"Though he's skilled at mystifying his audiences with illusions, Gudel says that's not where the real magic lies. "Magic really does exist. And it's not in the tricks nor the sleight of hand, or even in the sleeves, but more in the look of wonder and the smiles on these kids' faces."
