He wowed the crowd with some incredible tricks on stage, making tables float and turning fruit into money. His next step was behind the scenes as stagehand in a grade eight play at Crescent School. He developed a great interest in magic at the age of thirteen and performed his first magic show at a family friend's birthday on April fools day 1976
