Matt began his career in England as a young boy where he started to learn his craft as a traditional magician and illusionist. Since then he has traveled all over the world. On his travels around the world his knowledge in both magic and the mystic arts has grown. He has picked up secrets and techniques along the way from the countries he has visited and the people he has met. January 19th is confirmed for our annual Magic Show at the Arts Centre. Two shows: 1 pm & 3 pm. We are not able to perform in the Frazee Gallery like last year as the Gallery will have an exhibition set up,but we can use the smaller room that seats about 45 people.

Thommy Ten and Amelie Van Tass(The Clairvoyants) were both born and raised in Austria and now reside in both Austria and America. When they met in 2011, they began to develop their “second sight” act, andtwo months laterbrought itto the stage for the first time. Within a year they had developed a full-length show. Shortly thereafter, they began touring Europe. In 2014, they received their first long-term contract in America when they performed in the showThe Illusionariumby JeffHobson. A custom theatre was built for this show on the cruise ship “Norwegian Getaway”. After a six-month run inThe Illusionarium,they were offered a featured spot in the largest touring magic show in the world,The Illusionists,produced by Simon Painter. As part of the brand-new showThe Illusionists 1903,they toured Australia, Mexico and the Middle East after which they continued withThe Illusionists 2.0andThe Illusionists —Live From Broadway. A highlight of their career was the opportunity to perform at the Sydney Opera House.This winter they are experiencing another career highlight, appearing in the showThe Illusionists —Turn of the Centuryat the Palace Theatre in New York City, on Broadway. Van Tass and Ten were awarded the “German Champions of Mentalism”, “Magicians of the Year”, 2015 and, were enthusiastically chosen as the “World Champions of Mentalism, 2015”, a prize that hadn’t been awarded in 30 years.

2019 "Holiday Magic"

The tradition continues with the 2019 HOLIDAY MAGIC SHOW raising monies to support Shrine Kids and the Shrine Children’s Hospitals.

The show is once again hosted by DICK JOINER who has been presenting this variety show annually for the past 28 years. Since the last tour in 2018, Dick has been busy touring across Canada, and filming special segments of the TV show “Anne with an E”, a continuing story of Anne of Green Gables. Dick is proud once again to bring first class entertainers to the touring show this year. They include:

• RICHARD FORGET... an international award winning magician that places him at the forefront of the magic world.
  
  Richard has performed on stages in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia, as well as on live television in front of millions of viewers and before Royalty, mesmerizing a wide variety of audiences with his innovative illusions.
• NATHANIEL RANKIN, The Canadian Champion of Magic, is an International award winning performer. His one man show “Astonishment” has been performed over 5000 times in 45 Countries and 5 continents.
  
  Nathaniel has completed numerous national and international tours. He has headlined on 28 luxury cruise ships. Among his entertainment awards – he is the winner of the Asti Theater Festival in Asti Italy.
• THE ARESTOVS.  …. A husband and wife team providing outstanding talents specializing mainly in circus skills. They were initially trained with the Moscow State Circus, and have travelled the world performing various highly skilled acts. They toured with the Holiday Magic show a few years past and due to popular demand have been added to the 2019 tour with their mind blowing quick change act
