Chris Ramsay and Ekaterina part of the the Online Magic jury for FISM 2025

On January 19th we shared on Facebook that FISM 2025 will have a demonstration category for Streetmagic!

In the January 29th article "Here's the scoop on FISM Italy 2025 (Headliners, Brand New Categories, Insights & More)" by Ryan Joyce at Magician Masterclass we learned that there are two demonstration categories this year:

This year, the prestigious competition introduces two exciting new categories:

World Champion Online Magic: In recognition of the growing influence of digital platforms, this category celebrates magicians who perform and captivate audiences through virtual mediums.

World Champion Street Magic: Bringing magic to the streets, this category honours magicians who perform in public spaces and open-air environments.

Joe Schwarcz, Order of Canada recipient, interviewed on The Current

You may recall we previously posted that the McGill University Office for Science and Society (OSS) was the 2024 recipient of the James Randi Educational Foundation award.
