This year I was awarded one of the first ever scholarships from the Max Maven’s voices of tomorrow organization.
I cannot express how much this means to me. It has given me the opportunity of a lifetime to join Tannens Magic Camp this year and meet so many amazing people.
A quick reminder of our earlier Mail as Medicine request for Katie Hunt. If you have the time, Katie and Doug would both benefit from hearing from their friends!

From the July 8th article "For his fourth show, illusionist Luc Langevin has pulled out all the stops: Where the Impossible Comes to Life is the culmination of 15 years of work, he tells us. A show of 'international caliber' that will tour Europe early next year. La Presse met him in his rehearsal space." by Jean Siag at La Press (translation from French by Google):
"The challenge is to create a connection with the audience," he tells us. Hence the importance, according to him, of involving spectators, who are sometimes invited to come on stage, sometimes to participate in a performance from their seats. But they must be completely fooled for the magic to happen.
"For a good illusion to come to life, it's a choreography between the lighting, the music, the technicians, the staging, the video projection, and the magician. That's what makes it complex and requires rehearsal," explains Luc Langevin. "It's a lot of work and training."
