Oliver and Osoyoos: The Jozef Magic and Fascinating Friends Family Magic Show

A travelling magician couple will be performing a two-hour magic show in Oliver and Osoyoos on September 10 and 17, respectively, during a tour throughout the province.

The Oliver show starts at 7 p.m. this Saturday at the Oliver Community Centre.

Bibiana and Jozef Demcak perform under the name The Jozef Magic and Fascinating Friends Family Magic Show and the Osoyoos performance is Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Sonora Community Centre.

“It’s magic and illusion,” said Jozef in an interview last week. “It’s a magic show like you’ve never seen before.”

Montreal: 44th Magic Collectors Weekend

Magicana is delighted to bring the MCW to Montreal in May 2017. We will be staging this conference to coincide with the opening of the major magic exhibition, drawn from the Allan Slaight Collection of magic posters and Houdiniana, at the McCord Museum.

In fact, a large part of the conference will take place at the McCord Museum (which is located in the heart of downtown Montreal) where delegates will enjoy private tours of the exhibition and behind-the-scenes tours by curators and staff of the museum. The museum has an exquisite exhibition in the works, and MCW delegates will be the first to experience it!

The balance of the conference will be held at our convention hotel, the Delta Montreal which is, literally, around the corner from the McCord. And, as we have had in the past, there will be a broad range of speakers.

But space is limited! This event is restricted by the meeting capacity at the McCord, so we only have 125 places available. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

P.E.I.'s Dave Moses is no stranger to the magic of television.

The writer/producer/actor has credits that range from the comedy Robson Arms to the gritty, real-life Emergency: Life & Death at VGH, set in Vancouver General Hospital's emergency room.

And then there's the surreal life of the upcoming Real Housewives of Toronto.

But he's now also involved in some actual magic on TV, thanks to the current show Tricked, airing on YTV.

Mike D’Urzo is an international award winning magician & mentalist.  As the founder and creative director of Mega Magic, he performs in hundreds of shows annually for some of the largest corporations, theatres, theme parks, festivals and television networks across Canada.  Mike was the winner of the 2014 “Canadian Entertainer of the Year” award by the Canadian Event Industry Awards.  He was the winner of the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 “Performer of the Year” award presented by Festivals & Events Ontario.  He was awarded in the top 10 magicians worldwide by the Wedding Industry Experts Awards and the 2015 & 2016 Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Entertainer by Canadian Special Events Magazine.  He was also named in the top 5 magicians in Toronto by BLOG TO.

So this fellow goes about practicing up on his walk around magic and one day his boss comes up to him and says, “By the way, just let me know what kind of lighting you need or tables, etc. Whatever you need.
