That's all she wrote
With the publication of yesterday's piece on Murray SawChuck meeting The Twins, I've officially published that last scrap of new news about Canadian magicians and magic happening in Canada.
Between you and me, I'm surprised we covered it all in just over six short years! I thought it would have taken longer.
A shout out to all of my sponsors, past and present. That means you: Magic Information Canada, Ryan Pilling, Clive Court, Perfect Magic, The Browser's Den of Magic, The Amazing Corbin, and Michael Close.
Thanks also to all of the blog's official friends, past and present. That's you: John Smithman, John Harrison, Richard Lyn, Joan Caesar, and Ted & Marion Outerbridge.
And of course thank you, dear readers, for your company on this fabulous journey!
I kid! We've only just seen the tip of the iceburg.
It's Saturday April 1st and I'm spending the day at the 3rd annual Browser's Bash. Keep your eye on the blog and Twitter for updates on how the day is progressing!

Murray SawChuck meets The Twins
From Burnaby Now:
If you happen to be a reality TV fan, you may catch Burnaby’s own celebrity magician front and centre on The Twins – Happily Ever After.
Yes, I'm talking about Murray SawChuck, headliner at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, who is featured on the upcoming April 3 episode of the ABC show (which, for the uninitiated like myself, follows the exploits of twins Haley and Emily Ferguson, fan favourites from Ben’s season of The Bachelor).
In the episode, the twins took on Vegas and auditioned to be Murray’s assistants on the Las Vegas strip.

Saturday is the "Browser's Bash," an all day convention hosted by the Browser's Den of Magic!
Like last year, and technology willing, I plan to be doing some combination of live-Tweeting and live-blogging of the event. Apologies in advance for clogging your feeds. To follow my Twitter account, you can use the web or use the Twitter widget on the right side of this page, under the "Selected Anniversaries" feature.
If you're at the event and Tweeting, I encourage you to add the hashtag "#BrowsersBash2017" to your Tweets. I'll be adding a feature near the top of this page, which collects and posts all Tweets tagged in this fashion.
I look forward to seeing many of you on Saturday!

Now with prizes! (Unofficial) Browser's Bash Bingo
This is not officially part of the Browser's Bash!
All questions about the bingo go to Canada's Magic.
Do NOT ask Jeff P, Lee A, or John T questions about this.
Those of you planning on playing the (unofficial) Browser's Bash edition of Magic Convention Bingo on Saturday may be interested in knowing that Ben Train has generously offered 3 pairs of tickets as prizes for Browser's Bash Bingo 2017!
Three (3) lucky bingo players can each win a pair of early bird tickets to an exciting, brand new magic show in Toronto, opening in May 2017 in the College and Bathurst area.
The show is presented by the Toronto Magic Company. (If you haven't already, go to their website now and sign up for their newsletter!)
As an added bonus, everyone submitting a card with a "bingo," will receive by email at a later date, a coupon code which can be used to receive a "buy one get one free" discount for the same show.
Thanks Ben, for making these goodies available!
How to play:
- Print off a copy of Magic Convention Bingo - Unofficial Browser's Bash edition and bring it with you to the Bash this Saturday.
- Print your name, email address, and phone number on the card.
- At The Bash, and before dinner is served, bring to Canada's Magic, your printed bingo card with a
"bingo" (5 across, 5 down, 5 diagonally through the centre, or
all 4 corners) to be entered into a draw
for the prizes.
- Contest closes Saturday April 1st when dinner is served.
- Only one entry per person.
- The odds of winning depend on how many people enter the contest.
- Winners will be determined by random draw.
- Winners will receive, by email at a later date, a coupon code which will allow you to obtain tickets.
- This contest may be terminated or withdrawn at any time.
- To participate in the contest, you must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must be able to use the prize as offered. (No cash value will be offered if you cannot use the prize.)
- You will be disqualified if you interrupt me while
speeches, presentations, or performances are happening.
- You will be disqualified if you shout "BINGO" during speeches, presentations, or performances!
