United Kingdom: Bill Abbott's Pack Smart Play Anywhere lecture

We'd previously reported that Bill Abbott will be will be presenting at The Session, the UK's only close-up magic convention, in January 2013.  I've just learned he'll also be lecturing through the UK as well.

Those of you who have seen the TV show This Is Daniel Cook, will instantly recognize "Here we are!" as Daniel's opening line.  I'll admit to seeing many an episode.  However, I haven't seen "This is Daniel Cook doing magic."

Last month, Anthony Lindan organized an event called "Magic for Autism" in Ridgeway, Ontario in support of the Niagara Chapter of Autism Ontario.  Anthony, along with Shaun Fergus, Alex Kazam and Bill Abbott peformed table magic for the patrons at Ridgeway’s restaurant.

Morrissey Magic: 52 years wonderful!

A great time was had by all at Morrissey Magic's 52nd Anniversary Party yesterday!  At the open house we were treated to a close-up show featuring Bill McCourt (Ring 17 past president 73/74), Luiz Castro (doing a side-splitting impersonation of Juan Tamariz), Christyrious and Dan Morrissey! The afternoon stage show, emceed by Glen Ottaway, showcased the talent of Michael Collins, Danny Hammil, Alex Kazam, Bill Abbott and Paul Wildbaum (who conducted a beautiful impromptu bell choir).

The day was filled with laughter, amazement and friendship.  Thank you Dan and Phoebe for hosting this wonderful day!
